Oct 25 (Sat) 2-4pm: BABY SHOWER invitation to everyone. Invite your kids and grandkids, too! Bring any of the following: new sleepers (size 6, 9, 12 mth.), onsies, soap, hats to the shower. Oct 26 – Nov 12 – Poinsettias will be available to purchase through an MYF Fundraiser. Pick up is on November 21, 7-9 pm.
Nov 2: Coffee Time Fruit Potluck! Our cookie potluck was a huge hit so this time we are having a Fruit Potluck! Please bring washed individual fruit to share (plums, pears, bananas, apples, etc.).
Nov 2 – 16: Care Packages for College & University Students: As an expression of care, bring items (eg. candy, granola bars, microwave popcorn, tea, hot chocolate, post-it notes, highlighters) and place in the box on bench in hallway. ~ Care Team

Give thanks that Sharon Leis was released from the hospital on Thursday.
Remember Terry Tweedle, who has been hospitalized with a lung infection.

Oct 24 (Fri) 7 pm: Hear the authors discuss the book Valley of the Birdtail, An Indian Reserve, a White Town and the Road to Reconciliation. Knox Presbyterian Church, 50 Erb St. West, Waterloo. Sponsored by Wilmot Indigenous Relations Interfaith Working Group and MCC.
Nov 6 (Thurs) 7 pm (CST): Common Word Bite-Sized Book Club, in partnership with Canadian Mennonite. Register for a one-time, one-hour, online conversation with author April Yamasaki. Nov 7 (Fri) 7 pm: “Laughter as a Place of Belonging” will be performed by Ted Swartz, creator and actor of Ted and Co., here at Steinmann MC. The Wilmot Cluster of Mennonite churches are hosting this show. Tickets are $20/person; children 12 and under $10. Tickets are available through the church office.
