During the Sunday School hour, we will continue to engage with the LGBTQ+ Listening and Discernment process as a congregation. Together in the Fellowship Hall, we will watch the film “The Listening Church” and have a time of discussion afterwards. All are invited, welcome, and encouraged to join.

Women’s Bible Study: May 22 (Thurs.) 11:30 am – Meeting at Shirley Dunford’s place for a potluck lunch.
May 28 (Wed) 10 am: Adult Bible Study led by Wes Leis. Session 4 “13 False Doctrines Preached in the Modern Day Church”. This is the final session before the summer.

Congregational Life
Anthony Helmuth is looking for volunteers to help with the Summer Sausage Sales Tent at the Relief Sale. Please contact him if you are available to volunteer.

Jun 14 (Sat) 9-11 am: Peace Breakfast at Steinmann MC. Support & learn about MCC’s Meat Cannery that feeds thousands each year. Cost is by donation with all funds going to MCC. Registration is requested by 12 noon, Tuesday June 10 on the sign-up sheet in the hall or by calling the church

Let us pray for Gord Roth who will have reconstruction surgery on his hip on May 26.

Elmer Zehr continues as a patient at Grand River Hospital.

This week Jeff Carrafiello completed his 6th of 6 Chemotherapy and Immune Therapy treatments. His oncologist is sending him for a series of tests ending with a PET Scan in 6 weeks to see how he has responded to his treatments. Thank you for your ongoing prayer support.

Let us remember Ken Hofstetter who was hospitalized last week; he had surgery to put in a pacemaker. He is recovering at home

Remember Terry Tweedle who will have hip replacement surgery next week

MCCO Online webinars: Amidst political discord and talks of annexation across the Canada-US border, what is the call to followers of Jesus to respond? MCC is hosting four webinars on Sunday evenings at 7 pm– the first one was on May 4. Please contact the office for more information.

Students of Rockway Mennonite Collegiate invite you to their Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 21 at 7 pm All are welcome. A free-will offering will be taken to support music at Rockway.
