March 22 (Fri) 5:30 p.m.  TGIF is a monthly casual gathering of families with children for food and fun, and is open to all.  Please RSVP to Darryl at ad.drudge@gmail.com by Wed. March 20th  so food can be ordered.

March 27 (Wed.) 7:00 p.m. The A/V (Audio/Visual) tech crew is looking for your help in providing our congregation with its live stream and worship resources. We are looking for people with an interest in either the audio support or the video / live stream support. This is a very rewarding and interesting job. You will be fully trained with lots of time to practice before taking on this role. Join us on the 27th for an informal information session. For more information contact Steve or Cliff Kennel.

Remember in Prayer
We extend our sympathy to the family of Barbara Zehr.  Barb died Monday evening, March 4, 2024.  Visitation will be on Sunday March 10 from 2 – 4:00 pm and 7- 9:00 pm at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, Wellesley.  Burial will happen on Monday, March 11 at 10 am at the St. Agatha Mennonite cemetery with a service to follow at Steinmann   Mennonite Church at 11:00 am.

We pray for Kendyll Cassels, along with Pastor Ben and their children Elysse & Rowan. Kendyll broke her foot last Sunday. We are thankful that treatment will only involve a cast for about 5 weeks and not surgery. Pastor Ben’s church office hours will likely be a bit less predictable over these next weeks but he is always contactable via email or phone (ben@smchurch.ca & 519-588-0939).

Ardys Brenneman’s brother Wilbert Cober passed away on March 5, 2024.  Please pray for his family at this time of loss.

Let us remember Sam Roth who will have an aortic valve implant on Thursday March 14.

We join Tavistock Mennonite Church in prayers for Joel Wallace’s family (great nephew of Murray and Muriel Poole). Joel was killed in a tractor  accident Wednesday evening, age 24.
