Congregational Life
Thanks to all the volunteers at the Relief Sale. This year, the sale raised $350,000. The two quilts from Mennonite Women at Steinmann MC brought in $1,125.

The Hospitality Committee is in need of a few more volunteers for coffee time and ushering. Contact Marilyn Steinmann if you are willing to share your time in this way (dmsteinmann@cwisp.ca).

June 18 (Thurs): 9 am – 12 noon: Steinmann members are needed to help cut rags at the MCC Material Resources Centre. Thank you!

Happy 53rd Anniversary to John & Norma Iutzi on June 9th.

Happy 61st Anniversary to Keith & Eileen Erb on June 11th.

Happy Birthday to Delphine Schwartzentruber (85) on June 14th.

Continue to pray for David & Doris Martin as David prepares to start simultaneous chemo and radiation therapy.

Kenton & Sandi Roth’s son in law, Kameran (Emily), was in a serious motorcycle accident on the way home from work May 28. He is at Sunnybrook Hospital with life changing injuries. Pray for the Roth family as they companion Kameran, Emily, and their 14 month old daughter in this challenging time.

Community Events
June 9 (Tues) 5-7 pm: Hidden Acres 59th Annual Chicken BBQ and 18th Annual Pie Auction Fundraiser. Purchase tickets in advance by going to www.hiddenacres.ca Steinmann MC has been asked to donate 10 pies for the pie auction. Please let Joanne Schwartzentruber know if you would like to donate a pie and she’ll make sure you get a pie box.

June 16 (Tues) 1:30 – 3 pm: Death Café at the Wellesley Recreation Complex (Room 201) facilitated by Matthew Bailey-Dick. This is an event where people eat treats, drink tea or coffee, and discuss death. Registration is required. Please see poster for more details.

June 26 (Fri) 8:30 am – 3:30 pm: “Up the Grand”, a day-long Mennonite heritage bus tour led by Fred Lichti. Cost is $125 for this fundraiser for The Mennonite Story. See poster on bulletin board for details.
