Joys and Concerns
Happy Anniversary on September 4:
Murray & Muriel Poole – 62 years
David & Ruth Steinmann – 72 years

Prayers are requested for Tom and Ruthanne Bender. Ruthanne had a fall on August 25 and suffered a cervical neck fracture. She is at St Mary’s hospital for treatment. Doctors are hoping this fracture will heal on its own by keeping her in neck brace for several months.

Update from David Martin: “An MRI last week indicated that the cancer is stable and has not spread following my first 6 weeks of chemo and radiation. My next course of treatment begins Thursday, Aug. 27. It consists of 6 more months of oral chemo along with a 2 part clinical trial: 1) a head device that emits magnetic pulses to interfere with tumour growth; 2) intravenous immunotherapy. I’m thankful that things are stable at this point and am hopeful for a positive outcome from the upcoming treatments.”

We continue to pray for Rob McLean and family with his chemo radiation treatment Aug 10-Sept 21.
