Congregational Life
Sunday, December 14 is “Invite a Friend Sunday”. We encourage inviting friends and family to get to know Steinmann MC. Children’s Sunday School will also be singing during this service.

Dec 18 (Thurs): 9 am – 12 noon Steinmann members are needed to help cut rags at the MCC Material Resources Centre. Thank you for your help.

Dec 19 (Fri) 10 pm: Steinmann Bruins, Church League Hockey Game at Wilmot Rec Centre.

Joys & Concerns
Cathy Knipfel has an inoperable cancerous brain tumour. Pray for good quality of life for Cathy and her family in the coming months.

Pray for Milt Mohr whose surgery has been delayed to Friday, December 5 at Guelph General Hospital.

Remember Sharon Leis who is hospitalized at St. Mary’s Hospital. The family requests no visitors at this time.

Community Events
Dec 9 (Tues) 7 pm: Rockway Mennonite Collegiate’s annual Christmas Concert.

Dec 13 (Sat) 5 pm: The Coalition of Muslim Women’s Radiant Ladies Night Gala is a ladies-only fundraiser dinner, that brings diverse music and cuisine to a diverse audience. All women are invited to attend! This event particularly provides a chance for newcomer and racialized women to attend a social event that gives them a sense of belonging. If interested speak to Gladys Bender.

Dec 14 (Sun) 2:30pm: A LYNC Christmas held at Steinmann MC: A multimedia light and music Christmas special for the whole family in support of LYNC’s Mill Block Community Development. Tickets available on Eventbrite. Contact the church office for link.

Dec 21 (Sun) 4 pm: Longest Night Service at Zion United Church, New Hamburg. This service of readings, music, and candle lighting will acknowledge the feelings of sadness that come with loss. All are welcome.
