An unsupervised nursery is available across from the washrooms for children ages 5 and under. Parents are expected to supervise their children while in the nursery.

Special Coin Offering: We are supporting the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Thank you for your generosity to our Special Coin Offering. The totals raised for MCC School Kits was $598.50 and for GiZhawenimin was $486.20.

Pastor Ben is away from October 3-17 for Mennonite Church Canada meetings followed by some vacation.

Congregational Life
Thank you to everyone who has participated in Pastor Sara’s Appreciative Inquiry. Contributions are still welcome. There are copies of the questions and a box to submit them in the hallway.

Worship Committee is looking for people who have interest in creating visuals for a worship service on occasion. Please speak with Lynnette Hammer, Joy Wagler, Michelle Wagler, Nancy Steinmann Yantzi, or Pastor Louise to add your name to the list.

Oct 16 (Thurs): 9 am – 12 noon: Steinmann members are needed to help cut rags at the MCC Material Resources Centre.

Oct 17 (Fri) 10 pm: Steinmann Bruins, Church League Hockey Game at Wilmot Rec Centre.

Oct 24 (Fri) 5:30 pm: TGIF in the gym. This is a meal for young families that you don’t have to make or plan! If interested, RSVP to darryl.drudge@gmail.com by the Wednesday prior. Cost will be split, but it’s usually around $20 per family.

Oct 25 (Sat) 2-4pm: BABY SHOWER invitation to everyone. Invite your kids and grandkids, too! Bring any of the following: new sleepers (size 6, 9, 12 mth.), onsies, blankets, soap, socks, hats to the shower. We are packing “Infant Care Kits” to be delivered by MCC. Treats will be served. Let us continue to remember Sharon Leis who remains hospitalized at St. Mary’s for testing.

Remember Terry Tweedle, who is quarantined at home with a lung infection. Pray for Elaine as she cares for Terry.

Nov 7 (Fri) 7 pm: “Laughter as a Place of Belonging” will be performed by Ted Swartz, creator and actor of Ted and Co., here at Steinmann MC. The Wilmot Cluster of Mennonite churches is teaming up to host this show. Tickets are $20/person; children 13 and under $10. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, October 19.
