Compassionate Care Committee (Sara Roth and Janessa Otto) Invite a few more names for the list of persons to contact to provide items for funeral visitation meals for families. Thanks for your consideration.
The potluck on October 5 has been cancelled. Instead, you are invited to bring ½ or 1 dozen cookies (according to family size) to hare during coffee time and Pastor Sara’s Appreciative Inquiry. Leftover cookies will be donated to the Sunday School program for snack time. Due to a nut allergy in the children’s Sunday School, please be sure to label your cookies.
Last June, we began a trial period of wearing name tags on Sunday mornings. This practice has proven helpful in learning to know names. We have decided to make name tag use a part of our congregational life. You are encouraged to wear one… if you lose it, a new one can be created. Both lanyards and clips are available. Thanks for living into this new practice of hospitality.
