An unsupervised nursery is available across from the washrooms for children ages five and under. Parents are expected to supervise their children while in the nursery.
Special Coin Offering: In June, we are supporting Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) and Mennonite World Conference (MWC).

Congregational Life
Vacation Bible Camp, being held at Shantz Mennonite Church with SMC this year, would appreciate some donations of food to provide snacks for the children ttending. We are hoping to have some fruit donated to prepare kabobs. The fruits needed are: strawberries (80), grapes (80), melons (3). If willing to help out please contact Paulette West (519) 500-4280. The kabobs will be served on Wednesday, July 16th, so donations need to be delivered to Shantz MC on Tuesday morning July 15th. Thank you.
LGBTQ+ Resources: As promised in the FAQ in May, several books are now available across from the mailboxes for further reading over the summer. Additional resources can also be found at www.commonword.ca & https://inthistogethernetwork.ca
July 2-5: Mennonite Church Canada Gathering at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate in Kitchener.
A few volunteers are needed for the MC Canada Youth Gathering at Conrad Grebel University College, on Thursday and Friday, July 3 and 4. Volunteer shifts involve setting out a prepared snack: approximately 1 hour, starting 10 am, each morning; and 1/2 hour Thursday evening (9:30 pm). If you would be able to volunteer for any of these times, contact Gladys Bender.
Hospitality Committee is presently organizing the 2025-2026 schedules for Greeters and Coffee Time Hosts. A sincere THANKYOU to our current volunteers for your dedication and commitment. Please contact Carol Roth or Norma Iutzi if you do not wish to continue in this rewarding and valuable role.
We also welcome new volunteers who would like to be part of the Sunday morning welcoming team as a Greeter or Coffee Time Host.
Save the Date: Sunday, September 21, 3 pm: “Music for MCC Meat Cannery”. Come enjoy music — vocal and instrumental — offered by a variety of people. Concert will be held in the Steinmann Mennonite Church sanctuary. Cost by donation – all proceeds going to MCC Meat Cannery.
Madelyn Hammer will be volunteering on a medical trip to Ghana, October 2025 through International Needs Canada. She is joining a team of 12 medical rofessionals to provide medical care to those in need. All donations go to travel requirements and medical supplies. Here’s the link to donate.

Mennonite Schools and Camp Financial Aid: Anyone from our congregation working at a Mennonite Camp this summer is eligible for some assistance. Also, anyone considering a Mennonite school for the 2025/26 school year should let Pastor Sara or a Committee member know. Applications are due November 30, 2025. Give it some thought over the summer/fall.

Albert & Sheryl Crabbe are celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary on June 29.
Happy Birthday to Saundra Bast, turning 82 on June 23 and Harold Martin, turning 85 on June 25.
Edith Gingerich appreciates your prayers as she continues chemotherapy treatment.
Continue to pray for Ralph Gingerich receiving palliative care.
Verna Schwartzentruber suffered a stroke on Tuesday, June 17. She is receiving care at Grand River Hospital awaiting a bed in hospice care.
