Congregational Potluck: We continue our monthly potlucks to strengthen our relational ties in the midst of our diversity. Plan to bring food to share as well as your own dishes. The short program following the meal will feature four Steinmann MC people sharing about their hobbies: Emma Winter, Glenn Buck, Jean Gingerich, and Steve Carter.

National REDress Project: On May 5 we seek to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous women, children, and 2-spirited people by hanging red dresses and ribbons outside our gathering space.

May 3 (Sat) 9 am – 3ish pm: Ladies Thrift Store Shopping Trip. Meet at the church for 9 am. The plan is to go to Thrift on Kent, Elmira Thrift store, Millbank Thrift store, AnnaMae’s for lunch, and finish with New Hamburg Thrift store. Sign up sheet is by the church mailboxes. May 7(Wed) 9 am: Morning & afternoon – Mennonite Women: All women are invited to the church to knot comforters and/or quilt. Bring a bag lunch. Drinks provided

8 to 16 volunteers are needed for 1-2hr shifts at the MCC Relief Sale for preparing and selling cream buns (alongside volunteers from Conrad Grebel) from 7 am to 2 pm. Please contact Pam or Steve Carter if interested.

Joys & Concerns
Sandi and Kenton Roth are proud to announce the birth of Aylah Dorothy on March 25 to their daughter Emily and partner Kameran.

Continue to pray for Michelle Mabee whose husband Omer died April 11. The funeral service was Saturday April 26, 1 pm at Steinmann Mennonite Church.

Continue to pray for Elmer and Ethel Zehr coping with health issues. Elmer is hospitalized at Grand River Hospital.

Remember those persons recovering from surgery; Tasha Steckle, Sarah Godfrey.
