Sept. 14 (Tues.) 7:00 p.m. Refugee Sponsorship Information Session hosted by Steinmann’s Peace and Justice Committee is being hold in the fellowship hall. Millions of Syrian refugees are still stranded in refugee camps awaiting resettlement. We will hear from Moses Moini from MCC Ontario about the refugee situation and ways we can help. Last year our congregation was asked to consider sponsoring a Syrian refugee family that is related to a family now living in Kitchener; this request is still before us. We will hear this family’s story from the brother in Kitchener. Please attend to learn more about how we can respond as a faithful congregation that loves God and lives differently.
