Nov. 6 (Wed.) 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Comforter Knotting BLITZ. Everyone and all ages are invited. Bring a bag lunch at noon. Drinks will be available. Anyone working over the dinner hour (5-6:30 p.m.) will be served Rick’s Potato Soup & bread FREE. Come help support the work of MCC and those who experience the gift of love and care all around the world. MCC needs 6,500 comforters by Jan. 18, 2020. Let’s do our best!
Nov. 10 (Sun.) 7 p.m. Valleyview Male Chorus will be giving a concert at Steinmann. The choir has close to 40 members, including Karl Bergen, and their repertoire spans a broad range of musical styles. Freewill offering in support of the choir and MCC peace programs.
Nov. 16 (Sat.) 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Makers’ Market: A Local Alternative to Holiday Gift Giving. Soup lunch served at 11 a.m. Proceeds to the Wilmot Family Resource Centre. Donations of baked goods would be appreciated. Volunteers are welcome – Please speak with Ashley Drudge or Lynelle Drudge.

Care Packages: Our post-secondary students are studying hard; give them a boost by bringing small items for care packages. We will be collecting goodies until Nov. 3.
A wholehearted thank you to everyone who contributed to a wonderful time with our guests from the Hmong congregation last Sunday. A special thanks to the food committee and their flexibility, ushers, car parker and AV tech. Everyone’s hospitality was appreciated.
Also thank you to Marianne Schlegel and her daughter Lisa for hanging the Story Cloths. They will be here for our enjoyment for 1 more week. Take time to appreciate the art and stories that they tell.
