Nov 11 (Fri.) 10 a.m. Safe Church Policy and Review meeting
Nov. 19 (Sat.) 9 – 2 p.m. Makers Market. Join us for our annual, handmade holiday market! Featuring 35+ local artisans, including Ten Thousand Villages, come out and support your neighbours and community. A homemade soup lunch will be available from 11am – 1pm. All proceeds from this event will go to the Wilmot Family Resource Centre. To date, we have raised over $10,000 for the WFRC thanks to the support from this amazing community.
Nov. 20 – Eternity Sunday. A sacred time and space to feel our grief and losses. We will remember members of the congregation as well as other family and friends beyond our congregation who have died this past year (Nov. 2021-2022). If you wish to have a name read during the service, please add their name and information to the sheet on the table in the hallway or contact the church office.
Nov. 24 (Thurs.) 7-9 pm. The Care Team invites everyone to an evening with Glenn & Roslyn Crichton of the Coping Centre, Cambridge. They will speak on “Understanding Grief: How to Help Grieving People”. The event is free and open to the public.
Nov 26 (Sat.) 5:00 p.m. Annual Christmas Dinner featuring ham and scalloped potatoes with coleslaw and hot vegetables. Please bring a dessert (sufficient for you and your invited guests) to contribute to the dessert table. The cost of the meal will be covered by donations. Seating is limited to 200 so sign up promptly on the registration form in the hallway by the mailboxes.
After a very long period of rest, there will once again be a choir for Christmas at Steinmann Church! The choir will be singing on Sunday Dec 18th, and there will be only 3 rehearsals this time around. Choir practices will be held at 6:30 pm on Sunday evenings starting on Nov 27. Please consider joining us this year, and all are most welcome!
Sarah and Joel Godfrey appreciate the offers for assistance as they anticipate the upcoming arrival of twins. We are gathering a list of contacts and ways to help: meals and snacks (gluten free); house hold chores (laundry, dishes). If you wish to help in some way, contact Ashley Drudge or Sue Kennel. Ashley and Sue will create a schedule for sign up. The Godfreys appreciate your ongoing prayers.

If you are interested in purchasing your own copy of the Photo Directory, there is a sign-up sheet in the main hallway, or contact the church office. $15-$20 depending on the total number ordered.
Care Packages: The Care Team invites your contributions to care packages for our post secondary students – candy, granola bars, hot chocolate, post-it notes. Place items in the box in the hallway by Nov. 20. There is a list of current students in your church mailboxes.
