Eternity Sunday. A sacred time and space to feel our grief and losses. In our service we will remember members of the congregation as well as other family and friends beyond our congregation who have died this past year (Nov. 2022-2023).

Coffee & tea available in the fellowship hall following the service.

Help needed after the service to setup 2 Christmas trees. Meet Doris Martin and Joy Wagler in the sanctuary.

The Christmas choir will sing Sunday morning, Dec. 17. Rehearsals:  Today (Sun. Nov. 26), 5:30 pm; Sun. Dec. 3, 5:30 pm; and Sun. Dec. 10. 7:00 pm.  An  additional rehearsal before Dec. 17 is possible.  All singers are welcome.

Nov. 28 (Tues.) 4 – 5 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. Pickleball.

Dec. 6 (Wed.) Morning & afternoon  – All women invited to the church to knot comforters and/or quilt.  Festive potluck lunch, bring a dish to share.  Drinks provided.

Dec. 9 (Sat.) 5 p.m. Annual Community Christmas Banquet. Today is the last day to reserve a place(s),  signup sheet by the church mailboxes. Please bring enough dessert to feed your family and guests. A ham dinner will be provided. Donations collected to cover expenses with any excess going to Breakfast Club which is co-sponsored by  Hillcrest Mennonite Church and Steinmann Mennonite Church.

MYF (Grades 9-12+)
Dec 8 (Fri.) 5:30-7:30 p.m. volunteering at Wilmot Family Resource Centre. Meet there, wear closed toed shoes.

Save the date: Jan 5-6, MYF Lock-In at the church.

Jr. Youth (Grades 5-8)
Dec. 1. (Fri.) 7-11 p.m. Lock-in (Lite). An evening of God conversations, games, snacks, and fun late at night.

KidsLIFE (Grades 1-5)
Dec. 6 (Wed.), 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.   All Things Christmas

Small Groups
Dec. 12 (Tues.) 10 a.m. The Adult Bible Study led by Wes Leis will meet in the fireplace room. Studying “Exploring the New Testament”. Everyone is welcome.

Dec. 7 (Thurs.) 10:00 a.m. – Women’s Bible study group meeting at the church in the Fireplace area. Read chapter 3 of “Let The Light In”. All women are welcome. Contact person – Darlene Gingerich.

What a gift to be showered with congregational blessings.  Thank you for the beautiful prayer and expressions of gratitude extended to the three of us last Sunday, November 19.

Congratulations to Marianne Schlegel who is celebrating her 84th birthday on Wednesday,  November 29.

Congratulations to Milton & Margaret Mohr who are celebrating their 51st anniversary on Saturday, December 2.

Remember in Prayer
We express our sympathy to Ralph Gingerich and family as they grieve the death of Louise.  Louise died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 22.  Visitation will take place at Mark Jutzi funeral home on Wednesday, November 29, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. The memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 2 at 11 am at Steinmann Mennonite Church.  A meal will follow the service.

Let us continue to remember those persons in our midst who continue with health challenges.
