A supervised nursery for children 5 and under is across from the washrooms. Supervisors: Ben Winter and Darryl Drudge. A quieter unsupervised nursery is available in Room 113 (office hallway).

10:30 a.m. – Children’s Sunday School (preschool to grade 5) Big idea: We can get excited about God

Generosity Brunch. Worship service in the fellowship hall followed by potluck brunch.

6:45 p.m. Praise and Worship Service at East Zorra Mennonite Church with contemporary music. This is a family friendly time meant for all ages! Fellowship time to follow.

Food Justice: Peace Sunday worship service led by the Peace & Justice Committee.

7 p.m. Valleyview Male Chorus will be giving a concert at Steinmann. The choir has close to 40 members, including Karl Bergen, and their repertoire spans a broad range of musical styles. Freewill offering in support of the choir and MCC peace programs.

Nov. 6 (Wed.) 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Comforter Knotting BLITZ. Everyone and all ages are invited. Bring a bag lunch at noon. Anyone working over the dinner hour (5-6:30 p.m.) will be served Rick’s Potato Soup & bread FREE. Come help support the work of MCC and those who experience the gift of love and care all around the world. MCC needs 6,500 comforters by Jan. 18, 2020.

Nov. 16 (Sat.) 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Makers’ Market: A Local Alternative to Holiday Gift Giving. Soup lunch served at 11 a.m. Proceeds to the Wilmot Family Resource Centre. Donations of baked goods would be appreciated. Volunteers are welcome – Please speak with Ashley Drudge or Lynelle Drudge.

Nov. 17 (Sun.) 11:45 a.m. Mystery lunch. Funds raised will go toward materials for houses being built in El Salvador in late February. Sign-up sheets are located near the mailboxes. Nov. 24 (Sun.) Eternity Sunday. We will remember with gratitude members of the congregation and other family and friends who have died during the past year (Nov. 2018—Nov. 2019). Print the information of the people you want to remember on the paper by the mailboxes or call the church office.

Nov. 24 (Sun.) 7:00 p.m. Christmas choir practices will begin. We will be learning two pieces this year. Everyone is welcome!

Pastor Sara recently completed a 2-day ASIST Workshop – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. This workshop has provided her with additional resources in responding to thoughts and behaviours of suicide.

Student Aid: Are you interested in attending a Mennonite highschool, college or university in 2020? Are you interested in taking an Anabaptism class? If so, you are invited to apply for financial assistance through our Mennonite Schools and Leadership ministry. Please apply by Nov 30th in order to receive aid for studies in 2020.
