Guidelines for Worship

  • Mask wearing and physical distancing is encouraged.
  • Stay home if you feel ill for any reason.
  • Sit in every other pew and 2 m apart unless you arrange otherwise with the person(s) seated next to you.
  • You are welcome to sing if you are wearing a mask.
  • Colouring sheets and craft items for children are available on tables and at the back of the sanctuary.
  • The nursery room is available, unsupervised.

As we have returned to the sanctuary for Sunday worship, we are experimenting with a family friendly space at the back of the sanctuary. This includes tables with quiet activities for the kids (additional activities found on the table in the foyer). This past Sunday, the space was well used and much appreciated by families. Contact Worship Committee with any questions.

June Special Offering: “One Lunch.” Contribute the equivalent cost of one lunch in our community to assist lower income global brothers and sisters to attend Mennonite World Conference Assembly 2022 in Indonesia. Give directly to https://bit.ly/3zekXQb.

We are receiving items for relief kits, hygiene kits and soap that is much needed for MCC’s shipments of emergency supplies to Ukraine. See mcco.ca/kits  for details of kit contents or find lists on the table next to the mailboxes. ‘Cash for kits’ allows MCC to purchase items in bulk at less cost and to cover shipping fees. Place items in the box provided during children’s offering, or during the week in a box inside the church’s main entrance.

Next Sunday June 12
9:45 a.m. Livestream and in-person worship in the Fellowship Hall (this is just for one week to accommodate some more creative elements).
Topic: Creative God
Scripture: Excerpts from Genesis, Ephesians, 1 John and Romans
Speaker: Pastor Liz Weber
