Congregational Life
Are you, or someone from your family who attends Steinmann Mennonite Church, interested in attending Rockway or Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary for the 2023-2024 school year?  Maybe you want to take an Anabaptist, theology or peace and conflict studies course at Conrad Grebel this fall? Or, you plan to work at one of the Mennonite Church camps this summer and, then, to attend school in the fall? Scholarships are available to offset costs.  Please talk to Andrea Kennel or Melody Steinman.

Volunteers needed to weed our gardens (2 week blocks).  There is a sign-up sheet on the table by the mail boxes. Help keep our church property beautiful!

Flowers for worship:  Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to share flowers as a visual for worship.  We are in need of flowers for July 16, August 20 and August 27. Please add your name to the sign up sheet near the mailboxes if you can contribute on one of these Sundays.

June 21 (Wed.) 6 p.m. The Wilmot Healing Circle led by Indigenous Elder Nina De Shane is celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day and Summer Solstice, by hosting an evening of food, singing and   drumming outdoors at Mannheim Mennonite church. This Fall you are invited to join as a singer in the Mennonite Mass Choir in a performance of Handel’s Messiah with the Kitchener-Waterloo  Symphony at Centre in the Square on Sunday, December 10th (afternoon). Pastor Louise will be taking vacation June 19 – June 24.

Thank you for the stories, memories, posters from the children, word dove and song you shared last Sunday. The various hats I have worn (and potlucks) have enriched 20 full and fast years. I am so grateful. Pastor Steve.

Wes & Janice Leis thank all those who celebrated our 50th anniversary open house with us.  For the cards, best wishes and all kind thoughts sent our way.  Thank you!  Special thanks to our Bible Study group for all their hard work, and to our children and grandchildren for making this day a memorable one.  We are truly grateful.  God Bless you all.
