Shantz Mennonite Church is offering “Church To Go” in place of their Vacation Bible Camp. Church to Go is a pizza box fill with activities, games, craft options, devotions and more. To preorder a box, please email email@example.com before June 19th indicating how many in your household are 12 years of age and younger. Boxes will be available for safe non-contact pick up July 12th and 13th (alternate arrangements can be made by request) in the parking lot at Shantz Church.

Mennonite Church Canada is donating $50,000 to the Global Sharing Fund operated by Mennonite World Conference (MWC) to help MWC-member churches, 81% of whom live in Asia, Africa and Latin America who are requesting aid because they do not have enough food, water for handwashing, and soap during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Canadian Mennonite University – annual Canadian School of Peacebuilding public lecture will be delivered by Dr. William Cavanaugh, Professor of Catholic Studies at DePaul University, known widely for his work in political theology and Christian ethics. His lecture, entitled The Myth of Religious Violence, will be delivered online on Wednesday, June 17 at 7:00 p.m. CDT. (8 p.m. our time) cmu.ca/events
