With Ontario moving to Stage 1 this weekend, our capacity for attending in-person worship services and funerals moves from 10 people to 50 people. Livestreaming will continue. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the church office.

Water on Wheels – For our June monthly giving focus, please support Indigenous friends in Attawapiskat. The water currently plumbed into their homes is unsafe for human consumption, food preparation or even bathing, so jugs of safe, potable water need to be transported from two community filling stations. Utility wagons will make this easier particularly for the older residents and children frequently tasked with this responsibility. Please give directly to Mennonite Central Committee’s Giving Registry at https://bit.ly/2R9z0Ti.  Or make cheques payable to Mennonite Central Committee with “Water on Wheels” on the memo line. Our accountant can collect them and send them together to MCC. Assisting our Indigenous Neighbours in Attawapiskat could be a wonderful household project. Let’s see how many utility wagons we can provide at $250 ea. including shipping.

Personal Notes

Congratulations to Delphine Schwartzentruber who is celebrating her 80th birthday on Monday, June 14.

Remember in Prayer

Pray for healing for all who have been traumatized by last Sunday’s deadly attack on a Muslim family in London.

Mennonites in Colombia ask for prayer as some churches receive death threats and youth feel hopeless because protests and strikes do not bring change.
