We are receiving items for relief kits, hygiene kits and soap that is much needed for MCC’s shipments of emergency supplies to Ukraine. See mcco.ca/kits for details of kit contents or find lists on the table next to the mailboxes. ‘Cash for kits’ allows MCC to purchase items in bulk at less cost and to cover shipping fees. Place items in the box provided during children’s offering, or during the week in a box inside the church’s main entrance.
Pastor Congregation Relations Committee (PCRC) and Vision Focus Team (VFT) appreciate the year that Steve has given us to think and plan intentionally about his retirement in July 2023. It gives us a chance to brainstorm how we as a congregation want to move forward with our pastoral team.
- July/August 2022 – PCRC to oversee review of job descriptions.
- Oct – VFT, PCRC and Staff Support to form a pastoral search committee.
We will keep you informed and invite you to contact PCRC members with input and questions. Meanwhile Steve has energy and enthusiasm to complete another year and we look forward to seeing what this next year will bring.
Personal Notes
On behalf of PCRC (Pastor Congregation Relations Committee), many thanks to: Sterling Francis, John Iutzi, Keith Wagler, Larry Wagler, and Myron Wagler for helping move the household contents for Louise Wideman from Vineland to her new home in New Hamburg. We look forward to having her join our pastoral team in August.
Congratulations to Gordon & Carol Roth who are celebrating their 52nd anniversary on Monday, July 4.
Remember in Prayer
Pray for Ruby Gingerich who went to St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday and Vernetta Steinmann who continues to deal with pain.
