MCC Canada is joining the Humanitarian Coalition appeal for the hunger crisis in sub-Saharan Africa. For a limited time, donations made by individual Canadians will be matched by the Canadian government up to $5 million. To provide emergency food for children and families facing extreme hunger in places like Sudan, go to www.donation.mcccanada.ca/hunger-crisis.

Last call. Until next Sunday, July 17th we are receiving items for relief kits, hygiene kits and soap that is much needed for MCC’s shipments of emergency supplies to Ukraine. See mcco.ca/kits  for details of kit contents or find lists on the table next to the mailboxes. ‘Cash for kits’ allows MCC to purchase items in bulk at less cost and to cover shipping fees. Place items in the box provided during children’s offering, or during the week in a box inside the church’s main entrance.
