congregations. Derek Suderman will lead reflections on the biblical and theological logic that grounded European “discovery” of the Indigenous people and their lands along with how it continues to reverberate today.

Congratulations to Mary Wagler who will be celebrating her 89th birthday on Saturday, February 11.

Remember in Prayer
Verna Schwartzentruber’s brother, Carl who is having prostate and bladder surgery on Tuesday.  Let us remember them in our prayers.

We give thanks that Kathryn Bender was released from the hospital and is recuperating at home.

Prayer for John & Helmi Wiebe.  Their son Samuel continues to struggle with his mental health. John also awaits prostate surgery date that has been delayed. The family seeks prayer support to find the inner strength to move forward on this path.

Steve Cox began an interim basis in the role of MCEC Events and Communications Coordinator. He brings many years of pastoral ministry along with communications and marketing expertise.

The Mennonite Church in Vietnam is experiencing tremendous growth. Pray for the Anabaptist Training Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, Feb. 8-10.
