No Christian Education (Sunday School) for all ages:  on December 24 and 31. All classes will resume on January 7th.

Christmas Eve Service 6:30 pm – come to hear and see a retelling of the biblical Christmas story.  All are welcome. Service will be livestreamed.

Congregational Life
Year End Finances:  Please have all donations for 2023 submitted by end of day on December 31st. And all 2023 expenses submitted by 4 pm on  Friday, December 29th.

Thank you to everyone who made our December Christmas banquet a success: the kitchen committee, the set up and decorating crew, the   ushers, everyone who contributed to the program, and all who attended. Due to generous donations over expenses, $1,740 is being given to the breakfast club. Mark your calendars now for next year’s banquet planned for November 23, 2024.

Dec. 27 (Wed.) 6:30 p.m. Pickleball. No Pickleball on Tuesday, December 26.

Jan. 3 (Wed.) Morning & afternoon – All women invited to the church to knot comforters and/or quilt. Bring a bag lunch. Drinks provided.

Heartfelt thanks for all the tangible expressions of care shared with my family at the meal at the funeral home and after the memorial service for Louise.  I appreciate your loving support.  ~Ralph Gingerich.

Jan. 11 (Thur.) 7 – 8:30 pm.  Rockway Mennonite Collegiate’ s grade 11 Land-Based Leadership class invites you to join them for a workshop featuring the Canadian Geographic Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada. This map honours and values Indigenous knowledge, science, learning, navigation and the stories that were shared by the Indigenous experts who contributed to this project.  All are welcome.

Jan. 19-21 (Fri. – Sun.) Father & Kids Retreat at Silver Lake Mennonite Camp. Every year, Pastor Ben & his two kids attend and it would be fun to have others come too! Info & registration at slmc.ca
