April 29 & 30. Mennonite Church Eastern Canada Annual Gathering. Courageous Imagination: Living into the Journey based on Luke 13:18-21. Hybrid/in person at Redeemer University, Ancaster, ON. Friday night: welcome seven congregations joining or moving into full membership in MCEC. Celebrate as 30 pastors from provisional congregations are installed as ministering persons within MCEC. Saturday: live into the Courageous Imagination journey as we prayerfully receive and consider updated MCEC identity and priority statements building on feedback from the Courageous Imagination journey. The family of Betty & Wallace Roth.  Betty’s funeral service was held on Friday.

The family of Dan Ropp.  Dan’s funeral service was held yesterday.

The family of Alice Wagler who passed away on Tuesday. A funeral service for Alice is planned for this afternoon at 2:00 p.m., in person and livestreamed.

The family of Greg Spencer, brother-in-law of John and Norma Iutzi and Delores and Harold Swartzentruber, who passed away on Wednesday following a lengthy illness.

Along with praying for Ukrainian refugees, please pray regarding the continued bombings and atrocities of the Myanmar army on its own people. Pray for Anabaptist brothers and sisters in the Chin state.
